Cookie Policy

Last updated April 4, 2026Effective immediately

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, which ones we use, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit. Cookies let the site remember your actions and preferences (login, region, cart contents) so you don't have to re-enter them every time. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and SDK identifiers in our mobile app — we treat these together.

2. Categories of cookies we use

Strictly necessary
Required for the site to function: login session, cart contents, consent preferences, security tokens. These are set automatically and cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
Performance & analytics
Help us understand how visitors use the site (which pages, which actions) so we can improve. We use Plausible, an EU-hosted, cookieless analytics tool that does not set cookies or collect personal data.
Marketing
Used to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and to show relevant ads on third-party sites. Set only with your explicit consent.

3. Cookies we set

azdome_session
Strictly necessary · session cookie · authentication token, expires when browser closes.
azdome_cart
Strictly necessary · localStorage · stores your cart contents, no expiration (cleared on logout or manual cart clear).
azdome_consent
Strictly necessary · 12 months · remembers your cookie preferences.
csrf_token
Strictly necessary · session · prevents cross-site request forgery.
_plausible
Analytics · this is a placeholder — Plausible does not set a cookie. Hostnames are aggregated server-side.

4. Third-party cookies

Some pages embed content from third parties (e.g., YouTube videos, Stripe checkout). Those third parties may set their own cookies when you interact with their content. We minimize this — for example, YouTube embeds use the privacy-enhanced "youtube-nocookie.com" domain, and Stripe is only loaded on the checkout page.

5. How to control cookies

You have three ways to control cookies on UNIPAX:

Site preferences
Open the Cookie Settings panel at the bottom of any page to opt in or out of each category.
Browser settings
All major browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or clear stored cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent checkout.
Mobile OS
iOS and Android both offer Limit Ad Tracking and Reset Advertising Identifier controls in system settings.

6. Changes

If we change the cookies we use, we'll update this page and (for material changes) re-prompt for consent. Check the "Last updated" date at the top.
